Everything you need to know about finding a pet the trusted way.
A good breeder prioritises the health, welfare, and temperament of their animals. They should be transparent about breeding practices, provide veterinary records, discuss health testing where applicable, and be willing to answer questions before and after placement.
Vaccination schedules vary depending on age and veterinary advice. Your breeder should provide a vaccination record and discuss any future vaccinations that may be required.
The price varies significantly depending on the breed, breeder practices, health testing, veterinary care, and demand.
Consider your lifestyle, living arrangements, activity level, grooming requirements, budget, and the amount of time you can dedicate to a pet. A breed's appearance is only one part of the picture. Temperament, exercise needs, and long term care requirements are equally important.
Breeders should only breed dogs once they are physically and emotionally mature and after receiving appropriate veterinary guidance.
